NICEVILLE — Northwest Florida State College has free workshops to help teachers pass the general knowledge section of Florida Teacher Certification Examinations.
Workshops begin May 21 at 100 College Blvd., Niceville.
The workshop schedule is:
●English/Language Arts with Christopher Snellgrove; 8 a.m. to noon May 21, in building 420, room 107, 100 College Blvd., Niceville.
●Math, Session A with Chris Mizell is also helpful for Elementary Education and MG Math Subject Area exams. Hours are 8 a.m. to noon June 4, building 300, room 134. It covers knowledge of algebra, advanced algebra, functions, geometry and coordinate geometry.
●Math, Session B with Chris Mizell is also helpful for Elem. Ed. and MG Math Subject Area exams. Hours are 8 a.m. to noon June 11, building 300, room 134. It covers knowledge of trigonometry, statistics and probability, calculus, mathematical reasoning, and knowledge of instruction and assessment.
