PENSACOLA — East and West softball and baseball teams will compete during the last day of the Subway High School All-Star 2015-2016 Series.
Okaloosa and Santa Rosa County Schools make up the east team. Paul Bridges of Gulf Breeze will lead the east softball team while Choctaw High School’s Ryan Lanpher will coach the east baseball team.
Prior to each game players from both sides will compete for the homerun king/queen title. Both games will feature West Team seniors from Escambia County against East Team senior stars from Santa Rosa and Okaloosa Counties.
North Okaloosa residents on the east softball team are Ashley Black and Mykala McCranie of Baker, Taylor Rolison and Savannah Mason of Crestview, and Kay Shipman of Laurel Hill.
East baseball team members from North Okaloosa are Austin Davis of Baker; Corey Armstrong, Colter Hancock, Matt French and Zach Degraaf of Crestview.
The softball game is at 6 p.m. and the baseball game is at 6:30 p.m. May 26 at University of West Florida's Jim Spooner Field and Softball Complex, Pensacola.
Cost to attend is $8 at the gate, or $6 with high school student ID or canned good to benefit the Manna Food pantry.
An Academy Sports + Outdoors contest during both will provide two winners of up to $100 in Academy gift cards.
