DEFUNIAK SPRINGS — A man responsible for the armed robbery of three Subway stores is being actively sought by multiple law enforcement agencies in the southeast.

The first robbery took place at 5:48 p.m. May 21 in Miramar Beach. According to the joint media release from sheriff's deputies in Alachua, Crisp and Walton counties, the man waited until he was sure he would be alone in the store — at 10859 US Highway 98 — and entered the employee area. He brandished a firearm, robbing two female employees at gunpoint.
The next robbery occurred at 7:01 p.m. at 1814 16th Ave. E, Cordele, Ga. The suspect purchased a sandwich, then waited until he was alone with the two female employees. He forced them into the back room at gunpoint and robbed the store of an undisclosed amount of money and stole one victim’s cell phone, which was later recovered.
At 3:30 p.m. May 26, the suspect entered the Subway at 6666 W. Newberry Road in Alachua. The suspect waited until he was alone with a store employee before brandishing a gun and demanding money from the cashier.
The suspect in all three robberies is described as a white male, 5-feet-9-inches to 6 feet tall, wearing a camouflage style ball cap.
In the Walton and Crisp County (Georgia) cases, the suspect is seen fleeing in a tan four-door Chevrolet pickup truck, according to the media release.
He is considered armed and extremely dangerous.
