OKALOOSA — The Commission for Florida Law Enforcement Accreditation has awarded the Okaloosa County Sheriff’s Office reaccreditation, which recognizes the agency’s continuous pursuit of excellence.
Reaccreditation remains in effect for three years.
CFA Executive Director Lori Mizell told Sheriff Larry Ashley, “You and your agency are to be commended for your continued diligence, professionalism, and commitment in maintaining this highest recognition among Florida’s law enforcement community.”
Ashley, a State Accreditation Commissioner and vice chairman of the Standards Review Committee, recused himself from today’s vote in Orlando.
The OCSO has achieved both state and National Law Enforcement Accreditation.
