FORT WALTON BEACH — The Emerald Coast Public Relations Organization's next Lunch and Learn meeting guest speaker is Michele Nicholson of the Okaloosa County Sheriff’s Office. She will speak on Social Media and Crisis Management.
Nicholson, the OCSO’s public information officer since 2006, handles all the agency’s news media-related interactions; oversees the agency’s social media outlets; and produces and hosts the show “Okaloosa Eye on Crime” on Cox Channel 6.
She is the Florida Law Enforcement Public Information Officers Association’s regional director and is involved in numerous non-profit and professional organizations, including the Rotary Club of Fort Walton Beach, United Way and the Air Force Armament Museum Foundation.
Join ECPRO from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. July 26 at Chapala’s Mexican Restaurant, 67 Eglin Parkway NE, Fort Walton Beach. Lunch is $15 for members, $20 for non-members and $10 for students. If you do not want to eat but want to hear the program, the cost is $10.
