DESTIN — Planning a Saturday night visit to Destin?
Expect congestion and short traffic delays as the Okaloosa County Sheriff's Office and city of Destin are conducting a driving under the influence checkpoint.
The checks are from 9-11 p.m. July 30 on Legion Drive.
The OSCO and the city apologize for the inconvenience, but say the checkpoints are crucial in deterring and apprehending impaired drivers.
Persons who spot impaired drivers may contact the OSCO at 651-7400 or their nearest law enforcement agency.
