LAUREL HILL — A sexual predator has filed a temporary change of address notification with the Okaloosa County Sheriff's Office.
Steven Scott Butler, 40, a former Lincoln, Nebraska resident, filed a new address of 6546 Welannee Blvd., Laurel Hill on Aug. 22.
According to the Florida Department of Law Enforcement database, he is a white male with brown hair and eyes weighing 180 pounds and is 6-feet-1.
Butler's Broward County convictions are as follows:
●May 30, 1995: sexual battery-coercing a child by an adult, and lewd and lascivious molestation of a child under 16.
● Oct. 24, 1997, and March 5, 2004: sexual battery-coercing a child by an adult.
