Crestview High Class of 55 says farewell to one member

CRESTVIEW — The Crestview High School Class of 1955 met Aug. 11 at Desi's to say farewell to one of their classmates, Joyce Boatman, and her husband, Grant. They are moving to Minnesota to be near family.

Those present were Joyce and Grant Boatman, Sam and Ruth Heaton, Edith Hilburn, Frances Kilpatrick, Sue and Norman Laird, Donald and Jan Ray, Joe Paul and Nedra Stanford, Fay Ward and Margie Whitaker.

The classmates meet second Thursdays of the month at different locations. "I enjoy being with them," Hilburn said. "They come from everywhere."
