NICEVILLE — All graduates of Northwest Florida State College's radiography program passed on their first attempt on the American Registry for Radiologic Technologists primary examination.
That “identifies the quality of the program and how well the program prepares its students for entry-level positions as radiologic technologists,” said Grace Stewart, director of the NWF radiography program.
“This pass rate also reflects the hard work and dedication to excellence from the students, faculty, staff, support centers and our communities of interest,” she said.
The ARRT is the national certification exam that radiography graduates must pass in order to go to work in their field.
The 100 percent pass rate continues the historically strong showing of the college’s radiography graduates on the ARRT.
During the data collection period of 2008 to 2015, NWF’s radiography grads had a 96 percent pass rate compared to the national average of 91 percent.
