CRESTVIEW — The Crestview Police Department, with assistance from other local agencies, is searching for a burglary suspect in the Antioch Road area.
“Although there is no known threat to any of these facilities, consistent with protocol, the Police Department notified schools and daycares in the general area of our activities, even though the actual search is a distance away,” a CPD media release states.
“The Police Department does not provide advice or recommendation regarding precautionary procedures to any of these facilities. Decisions in this regard are determined, and precautionary measure executed, independently of the Crestview Police Department by management,” the release states.
No details about the burglary suspect or the case are available at this time.
Motorists should expect traffic delays in the area as the search continues.
