BAKER — Baker School Football Coach Matt Brunson promised prime cuts of steak when the Gators topped 10 forced turnovers on the season.

Oct. 7, the Gators’ four created turnovers in a game against South Walton High School put them past double digits.

Oct. 13, Brunson delivered on his promise.

“We reward defensive guys steaks for getting the ball loose or interceptions, and when we created 10 turnovers we were feeding whole team steaks,” Brunson said. “So when we got four turnovers vs. South Walton, we celebrated 10 turnovers (for the season) with steaks.”

There may be more feasts to come.

“Ten more turnovers, we eat steak again!” Brunson said.
