CRESTVIEW — An Okaloosa County grand jury has indicted Jordan Christopher Reeves for first-degree murder in Timothy Stocker Jr.’s death.
In the early morning hours of Aug. 9, 2015, Reeves and Stocker were in the parking lot of the Green Frog nightclub on Okaloosa Island.
After a brief argument, Reeves allegedly pulled out a firearm, approached Stocker and fired twice into Stocker’s abdomen. Reeves then backed up, fired several more times into the air, laughed and fled the scene.
Stocker was rushed to Fort Walton Beach Medical Center but died of his injuries.
Several witnesses identified Reeves as the shooter. Reeves fled the area but was apprehended in New York and transported back to Okaloosa County last month.
Assistant State Attorney Angela Mason will prosecute the case.
