CRESTVIEW — Several Crestview Police Department officers received bags of gifts from four children.

Jack Mendenhall, 3, his twin brothers Fin and Max, 2, and their friend Lincoln Childers, 3, visited the agency to spread Christmas joy.

“That was so sweet of them,” Community Services Officer Wanda Hulion said.

As word got out around the Whitehurst Municipal Building, Investigator Travis Robinson entered the lobby, where the boys and their moms, Amber Childers and Ashley Mendenhall, had gathered. Officer Corey Newcomb closely followed him.

The boys received police badge stickers as 'thank yous' from the officers, got hugs and posed for photos.
