Crestview residents make dean’s list

CRESTVIEW — Two North Okaloosa County residents have earned academic honors.

Alicia Berrios and Jessie Ecklund, both of Crestview, have made the University of Dubuque dean’s list. Honorees must earn a grade point average of 3.5 or higher on a 4.0 scale for that semester.

Supervisors of Elections scholarships available

CRESTVIEW — The Florida State Association of Supervisors of Elections will award three $1,200 scholarships at its annual summer conference. One nominee from Okaloosa County will be selected and forwarded to the FSASE Scholarship Committee to compete on the state level.

Applicants must be a political science/public or business administration or journalism/mass communication major who has or will have completed two years of college and be enrolled or accepted as a full-time student in a senior college or university in Florida.

Applicants must also have been bona fide residents of Florida for two years and be registered to vote.

Applications, which must be returned by March 29 for consideration, are available at www.GoVote-Okaloosa.com.
