Drivers will encounter traffic variations on the following state roads in Okaloosa and Walton Counties as crews perform construction and maintenance activities.
Okaloosa County
- · Interstate 10 (I-10) from East of County Road 189 (Exit 45, Holt) to west of the Yellow River Resurfacing- Intermittent and alternating lane closures from 8 p.m. to 6 a.m. Monday throughThursday as crews perform construction activities.
- · U.S. 98 from Gulf Shore Drive to Airport Road in Destin, Maintenance and Repair of Underground Stormwater Drainage– Intermittent westbound lane restrictions from 9 p.m. to 5 a.m.Sunday through Thursday as crews clean and seal pipe joints along the trunk line, adjacent manhole, and curb inlet structures. The project is anticipated to be complete summer 2017.
Walton County
- · I-10 from the Walton County to the Santa Rosa County line Routine Maintenance- Intermittent and alternating lane closures from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday, May 1 to Friday, May 5 as crews perform routine maintenance work along the roadway.
- · U.S. 98 over Peach Creek Routine Bridge Inspection – Westbound lane restriction from 8 p.m. to midnight Tuesday, May 2 as crews perform a routine bridge inspection.
- · U.S. 98 from Emerald Bay Drive to Tang-O-Mar Drive Widening– Alternating east and westbound lane closures between Holiday Road and the Okaloosa/Walton County line from 8:30 p.m. to 6:30 a.m. Monday, May 1 through Friday, May 5 as crews perform drainage work.
All activities are weather dependent and may be rescheduled in the event of inclement weather.
