Okaloosa Sheriff's office has Crestview DUI checkpoint

CRESTVIEW — The Okaloosa County Sheriff’s Office will have a local safety DUI checkpoint.

Hours are 10 p.m. to 1 a.m. May 12 at 5155 Ferdon Blvd. S., Crestview.

Short traffic delays are possible. The OCSO regrets any inconvenience the check point may cause, but the checks are crucial to deter and apprehend impaired drivers.

The OCSO is dedicated to ensuring the safety of motorists and their passengers.

People should call the OCSO at 651-7400, or the nearest law enforcement agency if the spot an impaired driver.
