CRESTVIEW — This year’s May Day festivities — themed "Legacy, Pride, Service — Believe and Keep the Dream Alive" — kick off May 26.
These events will be held at Allen Park, 895 McClelland St., Crestview:
Friday, May 26:
- 7 p.m., Annual Fellowship Night (Class of '67 in Charge) at Carver Hill Center, 461 School Ave., Crestview.
Saturday, May 27:
- 9 a.m.: Parade (line-up begins at Carver Hill)
- 11 a.m.: Opening ceremony; museum officially opens to tour
- 11:30 a.m.: Plaiting the May Day Pole; games, activities, concession stands and vendors
Sunday, May 28:
- 3 p.m.: May Day Annual Gospel Program, Community Youth, Macedonia Missionary Baptist Church, 603 Martin Luther King Jr., Crestview, with directors Ira Jolly, Shannon Hayes and Carey Flavors
