CRESTVIEW — Mario Werth, owner and operator of Advanced Aerial Operations, will discuss the versatility of drones, especially in the areas of agriculture and real estate, for the First Tuesday Talk at the Crestview Public Library.
“The Exciting World of Drones” is set 10:30 a.m. June 6 at 1445 Commerce Drive.
Drones are becoming more useful in Northwest Florida agriculture. Fitted with a special camera, they can record how plants are growing and help farmers determine whether they need more water or fertilizer.
In the real estate market, drones are able to fly above a house for a view of the neighborhood or to highlight special features potential buyers may be interested in such as a lake.
Werth will also discuss how current regulations are affecting the aviation industry and how to become a certified commercial pilot.
