Drivers will encounter traffic variations on the following state roads in Okaloosa County as crews perform construction and maintenance activities.
State Road 145 (Perry Avenue) resurfacing from U.S. 98 to Eglin Parkway — intermittent and alternating lane closures between Miracle Strip Parkway and Eglin Parkway, 8 p.m. to 5:30 a.m. through Thursday, Aug. 10 as crews perform striping operations.
S.R. 189 (Beal Parkway) intersection improvements at S.R. 393 (Mary Esther Boulevard) — southbound lane restrictions near the Mary Esther Cutoff from 9 p.m. to 5:30 a.m. through Thursday, Aug. 10 as crews clear trees and shrubs and remove concrete.
Interstate 10 resurfacing from east of County Road 189 (Holt/ Exit 45) to the west of Yellow River — intermittent east and westbound lane restrictions from 8 p.m. to 6 a.m. through Thursday, Aug. 10 as crews perform paving operations. Crews will also perform cable barrier and guardrail work during daytime hours. Drivers may encounter periodic inside and/or outside shoulder closures.
U.S. 98 utility work at Scenic Highway — A portion of the eastbound, right turn lane to Scenic Highway from U.S. 98 will be closed through 6 a.m. Wednesday, Aug. 9 as Destin Waters Users relocate facilities.
