North Okaloosa students recognized

CRESTVIEW — Here are highlights involving area students: 

  • Corey Armstrong of Crestview is a baseball honoree among students named to the Northwest Florida State College System Activities Association all-academic team for the 2016-17 academic year. Members achieved a minimum 3.3 grade point average on a 4.0 scale.
  • Foster Lux of Crestview participated in the University of Alabama's Cooperative Education Program, wherein students alternate periods of full-time study and full-time employment related to her academic major or career interests. She worked at Adtran, a networking and communication's equipment provider. The on-the-job training and work includes competitive salaries and may receive benefit packages. This enhances her employment prospects after graduation.
