CRESTVIEW — The County Supervisor of Elections office will participate fully in the National Voter Registration Day.
The Sept. 26 event is a 50-state effort to register voters, and has the goal of creating awareness of elections by encouraging Americans to register to vote and come to the polls for every election.
The Okaloosa office will register voters at four Walmart locations.
Hours are 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Sept. 26 at Walmarts in Crestview, Destin, Fort Walton Beach and Niceville.
Event attendees will also help voters update their address, request a replacement voter information card, update their name/signature or change their party affiliation.
Voter registration services are also available at all Okaloosa County Supervisor of Elections offices, including the one at 302 Wilson St. N., Crestview.
