North Okaloosa students recognized

CRESTVIEW — Here are highlights involving area students: 

  • Grantham University’s August graduates of the university’s online degree and certificate programs include two Crestview residents.

    Leslie Barthe earned an AA in Business Administration; Steven Saueressig earned an MS Info in Management Tech.

    "The Grantham family congratulates our graduates on the accomplishment they have worked so hard to achieve. It has been an honor to serve them, and we are thankful that they entrusted our team with their dreams," said Scott Andrews, Grantham University president and chief executive officer.

    “It gives us great pleasure for our graduates to embark on the next exciting chapter of their lives, with quality education that will help set them up for success.”

  • Lurleen B Wallace Community College President Dr. Herb Riedel recognized academic honor students for the 2017 summer semester.

    A total of 40 students were named to the president’s list and 36 named to the dean’s list.

    Stephen Patrick Hare of Crestview is a president’s list honoree.

    President’s list students must be enrolled full time, earn a high grade point average and earn a 4.0 GPA.
