CRESTVIEW — Here are highlights involving area students: 

  • Julie Price, of Crestview, graduated with a May 2017 post-doctoral Master of Science degree in Clinical Psychopharmacology from Fairleigh Dickinson University in Teaneck, New Jersey.
  • Lacy L. Fallon, of Crestview, is on the Scholastic Honor Roll at Oregon State University, Corvallis, Oregon. A junior majoring in Agricultural Sciences, Fallon earned a 3.5 grade point average for the achievement during 12 graded hours of coursework.

  • Crestview residents Rick Coley and Matthew Hall were among 14 Northwest Florida State College students who attended a Sept. 21 Florida Region 1 SkillsUSA Leadership Conference at Pensacola State College. They participated in multiple professional development sessions, including "How to Build a Resume" and "Professional Attire Do’s and Don’ts."The SkillsUSA partnership provides students, teachers and other professionals with the tools needed to excel in the workforce. SkillsUSA’s programs help students develop personal, workplace and technical skills grounded in academics. These essential elements shape responsible, reliable employees who will one day become leaders in the economic marketplace.
