Third teenager charged in Crestview shooting

CRESTVIEW — The Crestview Police Department has charged a third person in the drive-by shooting of a 13-year-old Oct. 31 in Crestview.

According to a CPD arrest report, a 17-year-old, Steed Corsey, has been charged with aggravated battery with a firearm — accessory after the fact.

The department previously charged Crestview residents Jerome Couch, 15, with aggravated battery with a firearm, and Velta Chesser, 13, with principle to aggravated battery with a firearm and an accessory after the fact.

In interviews with Couch and Chessher, they told police that Corsey was also in the car during the shooting, according to the report.
