The holidays are officially here! Pumpkin spice everything is being sold in stores, Christmas trees are for sale, cheerful music is playing — it’s the most wonderful time of the year! The Crestview Area Chamber of Commerce is ready to celebrate with you. We’ve got all kinds of festive events happening.

To kick off a new month, we had our November Networking Breakfast at the Crestview Community Center. This month’s breakfast was sponsored by Rocky Bayou Christian School. They are a private, Christian-based school that has a new campus in Crestview with over 50 elementary school students. We were thrilled to hear from Principal Denise Bowers that they are doing so well. Be sure to check out their website [http://rbcs.org/] to see all of the incredible things happening at their school locations. Go Knights!

Bring your business cards and your appetite to our next breakfast meeting, which will be on Dec. 7 and is sponsored by Hancock Bank. The Community Center doors will open at 7 a.m. and the program starts at 7:30. You will not be disappointed, because the Crestview High School Chorus will be singing your favorite carols to get everyone in the Christmas spirit.

We had another Business After Hours in November, too. This time we visited Lee Buick GMC for networking, cool car displays, and a delicious buffet-style dinner made especially for us by Hub City Barbecue. All who attended this free event had the chance to mingle with friends and fellow business leaders, as well as win some awesome door prizes.

Thank you, Emmerson Lee, Dale Henderson, and all of the Lee Buick GMC team for hosting us. The December After Hours is 5:30-7 p.m. Dec. 14 at Casbah Coffee Co. We’re looking forward to warm coffees and some sweet treats. Please join us.

Do you have a new business? Does your existing business have a new location? Has your business been newly renovated? If you answered yes to any of these questions, then you should have a ribbon cutting. All you have to do is contact our office and let us know when the best time to schedule the event is, and we will take care of the rest!

We will bring a ribbon, giant scissors, a banner, and a crew of our most energetic Chamber Ambassadors to celebrate with you.

We had a couple of awesome ribbon cuttings and grand openings in November with Publix at Northcrest, Costa Enterprises McDonald’s, and the new Waffle House on North Ferdon Boulevard. Congratulations to each of these businesses and their efforts to provide such great service to the Crestview community.

Our vision is to make the Crestview community a great place to live, work, and do business and we would love to have your support. Please consider joining us for any of our events or meetings throughout the month, or by becoming a member.

We would love to hear your thoughts or answer any questions you might have about the great things we’re doing. Contact us at 850-682-3212 or info@crestviewchamber.com. We look forward to hearing from you! Happy holidays!
