North Okaloosa students recognized

CRESTVIEW — Here are highlights involving area students.

LOCALS AMONG TROY GRADUATES 

Troy University students who completed the requirements for graduation during the fall semester and second term of the 2017-2018 academic year include these North Okaloosa County residents:

Christopher Parillo of Crestview, Associate of Science in General Education

Todd Yule of Crestview, Bachelor of Science

J.W. Woods of Holt, Bachelor of Applied Science

Moriah Brannon of Holt, Bachelor of Science

TROY STUDENTS EARN ACADEMIC HONORS

Area students qualified for the chancellor's list at Troy University by earning a 4.0 grade point average and registering for at least 12 semester hours as full-time undergraduates.

Chancellor's list students are Baker resident Philip Barksdale; Crestview residents Patrick Blizzard, Mary Champion and Matthew Jones; and Holt resident Leah Carter.

Local residents are on the Troy University provost's list for the same period.

They include Baker residents Taylor Brunson and Dustin Roper; Crestview residents Brian Schwartz, Chandler Burleson, Rebekah Hedden, Lexus Ivy, Laken Johnson, Taylor Martin and Haley Parnell; and Holt resident J.W. Woods.

To qualify, students must be full time undergraduates registered for at least 12 semester hours, and have a 3.65 grade point average.
