FORT JACKSON, South Carolina — Private Brianna Plank of Crestview completed Army Basic Combat Training April 19 at Fort Jackson, South Carolina. She is currently attending Advanced Individual Training in Fort Lee, Virginia to become an ammunition specialist. She graduated from Crestview High School in May of 2017. She is the daughter of Tracy Musvaire.
Private Brennen Powell of Crestview completed Army Basic Combat Training on the 26thof April at Fort Leonard Wood, Missouri. He is currently attending Advanced Individual Training at Fort Leonard Wood, Missouri to become a Motor Transport Operator. He graduated from Crestview High School in May of 2017. He is the son of Brooke Steele and Gary Powell.
Over the course of ten weeks these soldiers learned basic tactical and survival skills along with how to shoot, rappel, and march. They also learned the basics of Army life and military customs.
