The rosters for the 11th annual SUBWAY High School All-Star game were announced this week. The game took place on Thursday, Feb. 28 at Ashton Brosnaham Park.
The East girls’ team included members from our local schools. Niceville lead the way with five players. They were represented by center back Avery Hanson, center mid/center back Brayden Thomas, center mids Kayla Fernandez and Liliana Fernandez, and outside back/outside mid Yazmyne Valencia. Defensive player Melea Stokes was the lone representative for Crestview High School. Rocky Bayou was represented by striker/mid Alicyn Grete and center mid Kara Lawson. Choctaw was represented by defensive mid forward Cassie Cole and mid forward/forward Carolyn Castelin.
The East boys’ team included fourteen players from our local schools. Fort Walton Beach lead the way with four players. They were represented by defensive mid Andrew Mai, left wing Daniel De Souza, mid David Clark Attck, and goalkeeper Garrett Ellis. Defense/mid forward/holding player Bryan Holley was the sole representative for Baker. Crestview was represented by defender Luke Lindenberger and mid forward/defenders Reese Gomez and Trevor Dahlgren. Niceville was represented by forward Luke Brockington, goalkeeper Anthony Morales, and center mid Caleb Stalnaker. Rocky Bayou’s lone representative was back Cade Eason. Choctaw was represented by center back Frank Daldine and goalkeeper Tom Kiehn.
