Crestview library ready for fall activities

You may still be cooking like sausages in this oppressive heat, but here at the library, we’re closing up shop on the summer and getting ready for a wild autumnal ride!

If you haven’t yet, follow the Crestview Library on Facebook, or just look on our website calendar at www.cityofcrestview.org/178/Library. There are so many new and exciting things coming up this fall, the word count of this article would be gobbled up like a Thanksgiving turkey if events were listed in full.

In brief: keep an eye out for some exciting family library times, including a karate anti-bully class and the return of the amazing Trunk R’ Treat! We’ll also be hosting several movie and popcorn events including an 80th anniversary showing of a certain pig-tailed girl following a yellow brick road, an adults-only horror movie night, and a family Halloween marathon.

For personal growth and continuing education, we’ll have more art classes, cooking related programs, and even a genealogy seminar on the way.

As always, all the regulars will be there: Ready Reader story classes, Trivia Night, Poetry Jam, Chess and Scrabble clubs, LEGO free play, Adult Coloring Therapy, Writer’s Group, Book Club, and more. Keep an eye out for some possible bingo action in the future.

Don’t fall into a back-to-school stupor, check out our upcoming events and programs today!
