CRESTVIEW — Police are at the intersection of West Edney Avenue and South Lincoln Street, where gunshots were reported about 5:30 p.m.
Crestview Police Department spokesman Maj. Andrew Schneider said about 10 bullet cases were found on the ground near a home at the intersection, and one went through a window of the home.
A young girl was in the house. She was not hurt but complained that her ears were ringing.
It was not immediately known if anyone else was in the house.
No injuries were reported.
There were no witnesses, even though officers spoke to several people in the neighborhood.
