As Hurricane Dorian approached landfall on Florida's eastern coast, a local strike team was activated to assist the communities. Strike Team 1101 is comprised of several fire department agencies from the Florida Panhandle, including Crestview Fire Department, Okaloosa Island Fire Department, Navarre Beach Fire Rescue, and Pace Fire Rescue District. The firefighters representing the Crestview Fire Department are Senior Captain Matthew Cunningham, Lieutenant Bryce Callihan, Firefighter Clint Ratchford and Firefighter Ashton Lee.
