CRESTVIEW — The annual downtown fall festival will be held this Saturday from 1-6 p.m. on Main Street.
The event was originally scheduled for Oct. 26, but was postponed due to inclement weather.
“We’re so glad we were able to postpone everything,” said Main Street Crestview Association Executive Director Sandra Wilson. “We were able to move a lot of our vendors to still show up.”
Throughout the event, vendors will line the street with different booths that include games and candy. Food trucks will have famous festival food for sell, including turkey legs and funnel cakes.
There will also be live music performed by the the North Okaloosa Community Band and the band Hashtag Swing.
At 2 p.m., there will be a costume contest held for pets. At 3 p.m., there will be a costume contest for all ages, from babies to adults.
In between the two contests, Emerald Coast Zoo Owner Rick de Ridder and Jerry Roush from Discovery Channel’s “Swamp Brothers” will be entertaining the crowd with live animals.
“Our vendors serve our community and have fun game booths which kids enjoy,” Wilson said. “It’s fun, free entertainment for families with children and and adults too. Older kids enjoy it too.”
