FORT WALTON BEACH — The Society of Human Resource Management is hosting a webinar on the history of joint employment and the impact of recent labor departments.
The webinar includes information on how labor laws on joint employment affect relationships with vendors, staffing companies and others.
The guest speaker is Nicholas Kowalczyk, associate counsel with Kelly Services, who will share recent legal developments, industry trends, and best practices. This insider’s view of joint employment and co-employment issues will help attendees better understand the issues and know how to develop your relationships with your external business partners.
Breakfast will be provided by Waffle House.
Registration is at 7:15 a.m., with business at 7:30 and the program at 8 a.m. in a different meeting location, the Career Source conference room at 409 Racetrack Road NE, Fort Walton Beach.
The education credits provided by this program are one Professional Development Credit for the SHRM-Certified Professional, and one Human Resources Certification Institute credit.
