CRESTVIEW — Two Crestview residents, Montavius Diamond and Michael Valdez were unanimously elected secretary and president of the Northwest Florida State College Film Club Thursday night for the 2016-17 school year.
Diamond is a NWF State College alumnus. The other board members are current students.
The club meets monthly in the Art Wing of the college’s Mattie Kelly Performing Arts Center to view a film selected by club members and discuss it afterward.
Humanities professor Dr. David Simmons advises the club and facilitates its discussions. Membership is open to any film enthusiast.
