CRESTVIEW — Teachers, parents and students from Florida Virtual School Full Time recently visited Emerald Coast Wildlife Refuge Zoological Park outside Crestview for one of the online school’s field trips.
"Combining Florida-certified teachers, technology tools and community experiences, Florida Virtual School Full Time delivers a high-quality education online to children who benefit from an individualized approach to learning," a media release states.
Though the school is based online to its students, officials and families still meet up throughout the state each year to participate in events and field trips.
