CRESTVIEW — Crestview High School's first ever female wrestlers competed at the Florida Girls Wrestling Championships Feb. 2 at Dr. Phillips High School in Orlando.
The girls were the first-year wrestlers and two placed in the top 10 for their weight class.
Kendra Sanders placed seventh and Katie Meinert placed 10th. Joanna Peroso placed 16th. There were bracketed weight classes of 32 women in each.
