Davidson Middle School teacher awarded classroom grant

YOUNGSTOWN, OHIO — A Davidson Middle School teacher is the lone Northwest Florida teacher to receive an educational technology package valued at $3,600.

Turning Technologies' eInstruction, which specializes in assessment and learning engagement,  recently announced the winners of its Fall 2015 Classroom Improvement Technology Grant.

Winners, including Crestview's Alison Hunt, were selected based on providing insight of how they planned to effectively incorporate technology within the classroom.

Other grant recipients teach in Hendersonville, Tenn.; Woonsocket, R.I.; Dickinson, Texas; Harvey, La.; St. George, Utah; Carson City, Mich.; Plainview, Texas; Daytona Beach; and Snow Hill, Md.

Each winning classroom receives:

●ExamView Assessment Suite and Learning Series: Allows teachers to create, administer and manage assessments using current content or selections from a library of more than 15,000 standards-aligned assessment questions.

●Insight 360 Cloud: Assessment platform that enables customization and delivery of existing and ExamView content while using technology such as mobile devices, student response clickers and interactive whiteboards with just one application.

●Mobi: Mobile interactive whiteboard with touch screen that provides the ability to deliver and control content from anywhere in the room.

●32 Seat ResponseCard NXT: ResponseCard NXT features alphanumeric input and is compatible with all eInstruction by Turning Technologies software.
