CRESTVIEW — The Concerned Citizens Street Outreach group will host a community New Year's dinner.
The event is free to attend and starts at 2 p.m. Jan. 27 at the Carver-Hill School Center, 461 School Ave., Crestview.
The organization will also give away some underwear and socks for kids ages 2-8 at the event, according to a spokesperson.
The program will include a "7UP" presentation. Seven people will speak for seven minutes on one subject from the Bible. Speakers who talk for more than seven minutes have to drink a small, warm 7UP soda as a penalty.
The Crestview Concerned Citizens group is a civic organization founded in the 1990s that provides street ministry, community dinners and other activities for area residents.
