Dear editor,
What is going on in Okaloosa County? All these deadbeat dads are getting away without paying courtordered child support and not even showing up for court.
Several of these “deadbeats” are behind in their payment obligation and dollar amount in back child support, and nothing is really done about it. A “parent” consistently ignores a family court order to the point that criminal court should become involved. They willfully fail to provide dependent support but have the ability to pay.
I think it’s about time to crack down on these people.
The smell of a cell, the feel of some cuffs or a hard labor camp will make these people come up with some money they swear they don’t have.
The only ones suffering are the innocent children.
