ATLANTA, Ga. — Baker School senior Alicia Morris has joined the National Society of High School Scholars.
Society membership is by invitation only. High school students must achieve one of the following criteria to be eligible:
•Earn an SAT score of 1750.
•Earn a PSAT score of 200.
•Earn an ACT score of 26.
•Receive an AP exam score of 4.
•Receive an IB exam score of 5.
•Have a 3.5 or higher cumulative GPA on the 4.0 scale.
•Represent the top 10 percent of their class.
Morris, graduating summa cum laude from Baker School, is this year's salutatorian. She is also the marching band’s drum captain.
She dually enrolled at Northwest Florida State College and will attend the University of West Florida this fall, majoring in telecommunication and film.
Her parents are Harold and Barbara Morris of Baker. Laura Morris Garrett of Baker and Daniel Morris of Gainesville are her sister and brother.
