Elections office scholarship applications due March 17

The Florida State Association of Supervisors of Elections will award three $1,200 scholarships at its summer conference. One nominee from Okaloosa County will be selected.

Political science, public or business administration or journalism/mass communication majors may apply. Applicants must be completing two years of college and enrolled or accepted as a full-time student in a senior college or Florida university. They must have been documented Florida residents for two years and be registered voters.

March 17 is the deadline to turn in applications to the Okaloosa County Supervisor of Elections office.
