Janet Sanders, of Laurel Hill, has been named to the Freshman Forum at Troy University.
The Freshman Forum is a branch of the Student Government Association. Members serve as freshman class representatives.
Each fall, 50 freshmen chosen after an interview and application process are placed into one of these committees: Campus Involvement & Events, Community Service, Trojan Pride & Traditions, Finance and Publicity.
Members learn how to run meetings using parliamentary procedure, have their voices heard on campus and give back to the Troy community in the same manner as the SGA.
