Emerald Coast volunteer management site launches

Emerald Coast Ambassadors now offer an online community volunteer management program that registers, trains, tracks and recognizes community volunteers.

Participating nonprofits, clubs, organizations, neighborhoods and businesses now have access to better data, and set participation in communitywide and regional recognition ceremonies. The portal allows groups to post, track and manage their volunteer opportunities.

This system supports the new Communities of Excellence designation criteria, which requires regions, counties and cities to have at least 10 percent of their households register and document at least 15 hours of community service each quarter.

Registration is open until April 30. Registration costs $5 per year for volunteers and $35 per year for organizations. One registration is required, regardless of how many volunteer groups you may participate in each year.
