CRESTVIEW — With cooler weather, residents are dragging last year’s jackets, coats, sweaters, hoodies and pullovers from the bin under the bed, down from the top closet shelf, or out of the attic.
If some of those cold-weather garments don’t fit as well as they once did, but still have plenty of wear, Crestview High School's ROTC suggests they be donated to their Coats 4 Kids drive.
Collection bins and boxes are available throughout the school campus, including the lobby, and donations of gently worn outerwear will be accepted through Dec. 19.
ROTC battalion members will distribute the donated clothing to local needy families' children.
