COVER STORY: Florida Chautauqua providing knowledge for 129 years

CRESTVIEW — The 2014 Florida Chautauqua Assembly in DeFuniak Springs opens Jan. 23. The Rev. Demond Wilson, who portrayed Lamont Sanford on NBC's "Sanford and Son," is the keynote speaker.

Four days of demonstrations, performances and lectures will continue a movement that has quenched regional and national visitors' thirst for knowledge since 1885.
