5 women join Choctawhatchee Bay DAR

Regent Caroline Maney and registrar Sherry Vieth, of the National Society Daughters of the American Revolution's Choctawhatchee Bay chapter, recently welcomed new members Wanda Young, Linda McCooey, Barbara McDaniel, Karen Baker and Joanne Adams. The group promotes historic preservation, education and patriotism at local, state and national levels. Membership is open to any woman 18 years or older who proves lineal descent from a patriot of the American Revolution.
