Company accepting applications for Northwest Florida storm relief workers

FORT WALTON BEACH— Payroll Management Inc. is actively hiring for storm relief workers at hourly rates well above minimum wage due to flooding damage caused by recent rains.

When PMI CEO D.C. Mickle-Bee planned her "Put Northwest Florida Back to Work" Career Fair with Cumulus Media for next Wednesday at the Emerald Coast Conference Center, she knew she would be flooded with applicants, but now, the floods have triggered a jobs creation tsunami.

“We have an enormous task ahead of us. The videos on national TV don’t do it justice – this flood has devastated our area and now it’s time for us to put it right,” Mickle-Bee said.

Job requirements include the following:

•Construction experience preferred

•The ability to lift 50 pounds

•Owning steel-toed boots

•Ability to work long hours

•Optional overtime availability

•Ability to pass a prescreening process

Call 850-243-5604 to arrange an interview or go to the PMI website to apply online.
