Paxton Dixie Youth Ponytails need $7K to compete in world series

The Paxton Dixie Youth Ponytails fast pitch softball team needs help to participate in the Dixie Softball World Series, which begins Aug. 3 in Myrtle Beach, S.C. Team members are as follows. The Paxton Dixie Youth Ponytails fast pitch softball team needs help to participate in the Dixie Softball World Series, which begins Aug. 3 in Myrtle Beach, S.C.

The team needs to raise $8,000 through donations to attend the playoffs; they have  reached $1,065 so far.

The 12-and-under girls held their opponents scoreless in three games to take the state title.
