CRESTVIEW — Davidson Middle School's volleyball team will have an open gym from 3:30-5:30 p.m. July 7-9 and from 10 a.m. to noon July 13-15 on campus.
There will be an emphasis on passing and serving during these sessions. Rising sixth-graders thinking about trying out for local middle school teams are encouraged to attend.
The Second Annual Davidson Middle School Volleyball Camp is 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. July 23 and 24 at the school gym.
Southern Performance Volleyball of Birmingham, Ala. — an elite volleyball club that has helped place several players with college scholarships — and its director, Julie Myers-Dailey, will lead the camp.
Camp attendance costs $75 and includes lunch both days and a T-shirt.
