LAUREL HILL — Like so many small-school athletes, Laurel Hill School baseball player Chase Locke knows what it means to be committed.
What he might lack in talent, Locke more than makes up for in attitude and Hobo spirit.
“He’s a fine young man,” Laurel Hill Coach Ronnie Smith said of the junior infielder. “He’s a Hobo through and through. He comes in every day with a positive attitude.
“He comes to work every day and then he goes and works for his daddy, and a lot of days he doesn’t get home until 9 or 10 o’clock. I’m real proud to be his coach."
We now catch up with Chase Locke.
